Outline planning permission has been granted for the development of 590 residential dwellings (including affordable housing), a new primary school building and separate building for the local community with all matters reserved except access. [REF 13/00781/OUT]

Planning permission has been granted subject to a Section 106 Agreement that provides for the following:-

  • Affordable Housing   25%
  • Community Contribution   £250,000
  • Health Contribution   £285,560
  • Neighbourhood Park   £260,000
  • Metro Interchange Contribution   £20,000
  • Primary School Contribution   £1,637,500
  • Travel Plan Mitigation Sum   £132,000

The Vendor may consider the option of delivering the affordable housing requirement.  Initial offers in respect to Backworth Park should exclude any deductions for S106.
