Club Facilities

St Pancras Boxing Club is one of the oldest and most prestigious boxing clubs within the Amateur Boxing Association of England. The club was officially founded in 1900, through an amalgamation of earlier clubs founded in 1880.

The club believe they hold the record for the largest number of national champion  boxers in Great Britian, and continues to be a charitable foundation, run by trustees and volunteers. The diversity of Camden and Kentish Town is reflected in its membership  - arguably London’s most vibrant borough in cultural terms, with boxers from Afro-Caribbean, Asian, Jewish, Irish and Cockney backgrounds.

The renovated building will create a new quality approach to the traditional boxing gym and comply with the design criteria of the Olympic Association, Sport England and Amateur Boxing Association.

The new venue will be designed to provide comprehensive security for club members and the building fabric. The state of the art training facilities will include powerplate, resistance and cardio equipment as well as free weights. Two new Olympic standard boxing training rings will be available together with a wide range of boxing equipment such as punch bags, floor to ceiling bags, speed ball, mirrored skipping and shadow bowing areas.

New male and female changing facilities will be located adjacent to the boxing gym. Disabled toilet facilities for club members will also be provided.
