Portishead is situated on the Bristol Channel Coast approximately 8 miles north west of Bristol City Centre. Portishead has a population of around 22,000 persons. Junction 19 of the M5 motorway gives access to the town via the A369 which also provides good access to Bristol, the M4 and M49 to South Wales.
The town benefits from excellent transport links, Bristol International Airport and Bristol Temple Meads Railway station are easily accessible.
Portishead has good amenities including schools, medical centres, supermarkets and retail. Over recent years the town has benefited from considerable development and Crest Nicholson have undertaken a major marina development, Port Marine, which incorporates a large supermarket and once completed a total of 3,500 new homes along with 69,650 sq m of employment and retail space.
